Dr. Jessica Loch - Interim Lead Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Loch is a graduate of the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine.

She is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and is both Fear Free Certified and Cat-Friendly Certified. Dr. Loch has a special interest in feline medicine and she advocates for a more caring and specialized focus on feline friendly veterinary experiences.

Dr. Loch grew up on a farm in Lincoln, Alabama. She attended the University of South Alabama where she graduated magna cum laude (IN ITALICS) in Biology and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University in 2007. Dr. Loch has two children and four furry kids. Her hobbies include attending her kids’ soccer games, exercising and playing the mountain dulcimer!

Dr. Loch has practiced with Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital since 2014. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for all clients and their pets. She also is an active board member in a local rescue group which helps pets in under-served areas and community outreach. She has directed numerous community events such as Wags 4 Wishes and "Howl"oween fundraising events to benefit local animal rescues. Dr. Loch will be stepping in as interim lead veterinarian in November 2023!
