Dr. Paul Shinar - Veterinarian

${name}

I am thrilled to be part of the team at Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital.

Raised in Brentwood, Tennessee, amidst the influence of two medical professionals—my parents—I developed a profound affinity for medicine from an early age, which only deepened over time.

My academic pursuits led me to Vanderbilt University for my undergraduate studies, where my fascination with veterinary medicine took root. This passion drove me to pursue my veterinary education at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, where I honed my expertise in small animal and diagnostic medicine.

Throughout my career, I have cultivated a keen interest in surgery, clinical pathology, and oncology, recognizing their pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our beloved animal companions.

Outside of the clinic, I find solace in the great outdoors, often accompanied by my cherished 4-year-old pittie mix, Hazel. My love for live music, stemming from my musical background in marching band, adds rhythm to my life, whether on stage or off.

As a proud supporter of the Tennessee Titans, you might find me cheering them on from the stands or passionately rooting for them from home. I am eager to contribute to the well-being of both you and your cherished pets.
