Ashley Walding - Lead Veterinarian Assistant/Floor Manager
Ashley Walding joined the Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital team in May 2017 as Veterinary Assistant and returned in December 2021 as a Lead Vet Assistant.
She grew up in the small town of Hartford, AL. She has had a soft spot for animals since she was a small child. Ashley worked 2 jobs to put herself through school and graduated with her Bachelor's in Biology Auburn University at Montgomery. Shortly after graduating, she joined Taylor Crossing and quickly became the Live-in After-Hours Technician. After 2 years, Ashley became a traveling "Vet Assistant" working at a variety of veterinary hospitals in Southern Alabama and Florida. The leadership and knowledge Ashley gained during this time made her a perfect fit for Taylor Crossing's Lead Vet Assistant Role. She is now dedicated to the training and development of the Vet Assistants at Taylor Crossing as well working with the Veterinary Interns. Ashley lives in Pike Road with her husband and 3 dogs. In her free time, she spends time with her family. She is also pursuing her educational journey to complete her LVT.
